The analyst must pay attention to every single word that is used, never add or subtract anything to or from what the subject provides, always analyze based upon the literal translation of the words used, and always remember the subject chose the words they used for a specific reason based upon their internal editing process. Deception recognition is based upon principles, not parlor tricks or gimmicks.
